Feel Better Kits began with a simple need: to help a far-away friend feel better. While living in Ottawa, Ontario, creator Sam Burns found out a good friend was miserably sick with bronchitis. Normally, Sam would have packed up a bag of tried-and-true cold remedies and dropped it off to her sick pal, but her friend was living across the province in Sudbury, a six-hour drive away. So Sam created the Feel Better Kit and sent it to her friend in the mail.
